Adam Godfrey leads Jumpstart Columbus successfully by drawing on his ten years experience working in film and video. He has worked in nearly every role in the industry from grip to lighting to DP. He as worked for employers ranging from large production companies to independent film ventures. In addition to being creative and just plain fun to be around, his talents include an ability to coach and direct professional and non-professional talent, a working knowledge of every aspect of the production process, and a desire to please the client. His gift of humor and performance makes him an excellent communicator, which translates to a positive experience for crew and clients looking to him for leadership on a project. Adam regularly and consistently produces video worth sharing and video that delivers results for clients.
Jumpstart clients and crew alike are fortunate that Matt Downey decided to take a leap of faith by setting aside the glory and glamour of freelance work and joining the team at Jumpstart Video. He is talented, on-task, and no matter the production challenge or deadline he is always in a good mood. In fact, you just can't upset the guy. He is always happy to listen to a story, a lecture, or a last-minute request, which is good because he is surrounded by storytellers and clients who have wild ideas right at the deadline. We haven't taken the time to check with his wife to see if his jovial spirit continues at home, but given the success of his ventures in to weekend wedding videography its likely he's just as easy going at home or on a Saturday wedding shoot as he is at Jumpstart Video.
